Apple Arcade — сервис подписки на видеоигры, предоставляемый компанией Apple. Он доступен через специальную вкладку App Store на устройствах под управлением iOS 13, tvOS 13, iPadOS 13 и macOS Catalina и новее. Сервис был запущен 19 сентября 2019 года.

Программный клиент Apple Arcade обеспечивает установку и регулярное обновление игр, и облачное сохранение игр — когда подписчики могут прерывать игровой процесс на одном устройстве и в любой момент возобновлять его на другом. Apple Arcade также выполняет роль средства технической защиты авторских прав, платформы для многопользовательских игр и потокового вещания для игроков.

История

Сервис Apple Arcade был впервые представлен компанией Apple 25 марта 2019 года на презентации в театре Стива Джобса, расположенном в городе Купертино (штат Калифорния, США)[2][3].

Apple Arcade запущена 19 сентября 2019 года сразу в 150 странах мира[4].

Описание

В сервисе Apple Arcade доступно свыше 100 эксклюзивных игр. Все игры доступны офлайн — то есть играть можно без подключения к Интернету. Во всех играх отсутствует реклама и встроенные покупки. Присутствует возможность настроить семейный доступ (до 6 пользователей). Первый месяц Apple Arcade доступна бесплатно, дальше — за 199 ₽/мес. (стоимость в РФ).
